After 16 memorable years, we have made the very difficult decision to end the Tour de Cure. Thank you to all the riders, donors, sponsors and volunteers who helped us raise $131 million in gross revenue for BC Cancer since 2009.
This decision comes after careful consideration and was influenced by rising costs, declining net revenue, and escalating external risks, including climate events such as heat, smoke and rain.
We are deeply grateful for the incredible contributions made by our riders, donors, volunteers, sponsors and staff. Your passion and dedication have fuelled advances in cancer research and enhancements to care.
Though the ride ends, BC Cancer Foundation’s commitment to creating a world free from cancer remains as strong as ever. Last year, BC Cancer Foundation generated a record $85 million in revenue from 82,000 donors. For more information, visit tourdecure.ca
