Peter Andrew Revel is the inspiration behind PAR Classic Golf Tournament!

For years, Jared Revel, a 2-time Battlefield Fight League Champion, and Matt Revel, Assistant Coach & GM of the Chilliwack Chiefs, have hosted the event in support of CAN.

The brothers held the tourney this summer at the Chilliwack Golf Club with "Pistol Pete" himself selling 50/50 tickets on the course!

The total raised? Over $5,000!

A little sunshine, a fleet of paddleboards, and a whole lot of fun! ☀️

This summer, CAN youth & adults hit the water with the Chill Foundation, Vancouver Water Adventures, and CAN staff for three days of paddling around False Creek.

It was amazing to see the participants’ confidence grow with every session.

Big thanks to everyone who helped make these moments possible! 💙🤗

🌏 Increasing & understanding internationally!

This summer, we were honoured host students from the Department of Special Education at 이화여자대학교 Ewha Womans University
in .

In advance of their "Ewha Global Frontier" program, they were tasked with reaching out to international organizations who they believed were making an impact in inclusive education.

Four of their students reached out to learn more about the work we're doing to support youth in their transition to adulthood.

So last month, we met with them in our office and walked them through our youth & adult programs, focusing on the CAN Skills Training Employment Program and Ready, Willing & Able employment initiative.

It was an absolute privilege to connect with these future leaders who are committed to building inclusive communities across the world! 🙌

Declan joined CAN Swim lessons when he was 4. 💙

Since then, he has swam competitively for Dynamo Swim Club, Olympians Swimming & SOBC Coquitlam.

Last month, he dominated the pool at the BC Summer Games, bringing home 8 gold and 2 silver medals! 🏅
