From Vancouver's first Pride march in 1978 to the vibrant streets of Davie Village today, this neighbourhood has been shaped by activists, artists, business owners, community leaders, and countless individuals who fought for visibility, equality, and inclusion.⁠

As we celebrate Pride this month, we also recognize the history, resilience, and advocacy that helped build the community we know today, and the work that continues to create a more inclusive future.⁠
