Cock-a-doodle-doo! No, Twyford hasn't acquired a cockerel, that was the sound of excitement coming from campers as they awoke this morning. There was a spring in the step, fuelled by the harmony and friendship of yesterday's campfire, and breakfast did NOT disappoint. Bacon. Eggs. Shrooms. Toast. Coco Pops (other brands and cereals are available). A platter of not one, not two, but three types of Melon. It's like we've been transported from Hampshire to a luxury resort in the Seychelles!

There's only one way to follow a triumphant breakfast, and that is to get our dodge on. Roger. 'The Artful'. Patches O'Hoolahan. There's been many a famous dodger in this world - but none of them have anything on our campers this morning. The tutors had the A team out - some big names, including McCarthy, Strickland and Truong - yet we were humbled in the Campers Vs Tutors clash. 2-1 campers for the week, stay reading to see how this one enfolds.
The morning brought a buffet of activity options. 7 lucky campers visited our nations capital, soaking it all in from Buckingham Palace to Big Ben. Our English cohort had the challenge of solving riddles to purchase items from a local shop. The young adventures went campfire cooking, with the chocolate bananas a particular high point. And Sport took badminton to a level not seen in the UK since Emms and Robertson in their peak.
Lunch was vegetable Lasagna or Roast Turkey, and after gobbling it up we were ready to sieze the afternoon. Many have said that Nobby the chef could never be bettered in the world of L&E - by jove have those doubters been proved wrong. Deano and Dani have taken the gastronomy to levels we never thought we're possible.
This afternoon we were shooting hoops and canoeing loop de loops. Basketball on site and caneoing off site near the new forest.
After a delicious dinner of pizza or caneloni, we ventured to the sports hall for our evening of Game Shows.

Heads up! No, that's not a warning, it's one of the games played this evening, alongside lip synch battle, carrot in a box, would I lie to you and Family Fortunes. Laughter bellowed through the air, and a joyous evening was had by all.
Finally, campers hit the hay!

The past few days at World Camp have been busy and full of activity. We had trips to london and Wi******er, football matches in Southampton, Trashionshow, Netflix Theme Night and Oscars night on Friday.

During the day most campers had their normal daily activities like creative, sports and adventure.

Campers were incredibly creative when it came to Trashionshow and we got some amazing looks. Meanwhile, Netflix Night was met with so much energy. We loved to see each campers excitement when completing challenges throughout the night.

This past week we had a large group and an incredibly sad goodbye when many had to leave. Lots of these memories were captured, so many that we will need to post a few photo dumps on Learn & Experience

Congratulations to our Oscar winners and thank you to all the campers who came this week. You made a week full of long-lasting memories and we can't wait to see you again!

Now we prepare to start the final week of L&E World Camp UK! See you tomorrow!

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Days 11 and 12 brought another emotional end to another unforgettable week at L&E World Camp UK.

Day 11 was all about getting ready for one of our biggest nights of camp...Campchella!! Our very own version of Coachella! Creative campers spent the day painting and crafting to prepare for the evening, while our adventurous campers took on the high ropes, pushing themselves to new heights and cheering each other on along the way. As the sun went down, Campchella came to life with music, fun, and lifelong memories.

By Day 12, the reality that camp was coming to an end had started to sink in. It was the last full day for many of our campers, and although everyone was excited for the evening, there was definitely a feeling of sadness around camp. To help everyone slow down and enjoy their final day together, we kept the morning nice and relaxed with activities like origami and clay making. The afternoon was left open, giving campers time to pack, rest, and spend those last few moments together before saying goodbye.

We finished the week in style with our πŸ† Oscars NightπŸ†, celebrating all the memories, achievements, and friendships that had been made over the past two weeks.

To everyone heading home, thank you for making this week so special. The camp may be over, but the memories and friendships made here will last a lifetime. ❀️

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Day 10 of World Camp UK was a very chill. Some campers wanted to rest and relax while others went to Oxford for their day trip.

Our Oxford outing campers had lots to tell their friends once they returned, sharing stories about their tour around Oxford and displaying shopping hauls fo the rest of Camp.

Campers who stayed at home base only had 2 morning activities so we could stick with the chill theme. Creative spent their time painting and hiding figures, while sport had benchball (a classic and well loved activity).

In the afternoon, the winding down leading to our evening activity continued. Creative did bracelet making and Adventure went canoeing in the local area.

Finally, our evening activity was a Movie Night! Campers got to watch a classic coming-of-age comedy movie before bed!

Place your guesses of what movie it was in the comments! See you tomorrow for our theme night reveal!

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Nothing screams summer camp like a campfire! And that's exactly what day 9 of World Camp UK brought!

We started the day off with breakfast and dodgeball as usually. Campers split between English, Creative, Adventure and Sports for their morning activities. English spent time on Nouns and Adjectives, while creative got really into improv acting. Sports started off with some field hockey and adventure went into water survival skills, teaching swimming necessities to our campers.

In the afternoon creative got to build some volcanos!! While adventure shot arrows in archery and sports got to tackling in touchrugby.

As we got to the evening, the campfire was build, stories were told, songs were shared and talents were shown. Campers headed to bed after watching a short movie.

Speaking of movies, thats a big hint for our day 10 evening activity. Find out more tomorrow!

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Day 4 and 5 of Camp UK led us to an emotional and happy ending of the first week with our πŸ† Oscars Night πŸ† . Campers completed their activities and started some of our best evening.

On day 4 our evening activity was a world cup inspired game of corrupt football with Italy vs Scotland. Our players (the campers) were very motivated to win and proud of their teams. In the end Italy won the match after the referee broke the tie by declaring Italy was less corrupt. Scotland was playing checkers but Italy was playing chess.

Day 5 brought our long awaited Oscars Awards night. Congratulations to all the campers who won awards and to all nominees. We've truly enjoyed having the campers who were here for this week. Everyone said goodbye to their friends and spent time making more memories before bedtime.

Time for a new week, see you next time!
