Before facing off on the pitch, USMNT midfielder Sebastian Berhalter and Paraguayan midfielder Andrés Cubas took on a very different kind of challenge together - period pain simulators.

For more than half the population, this isn’t a challenge. It’s a reality they navigate every single month. And yet, period pain is still dismissed all too often.

In partnership with BC Women’s Health Foundation and Somedays, we invited these Vancouver Whitecaps players, along with Ryan Gauld, to step into that experience, helping to spark a bigger conversation about why greater awareness, research, and support matter.

Construction for The Broadway Subway Project, a significant extension of the Millennium Line in Vancouver, began in fall 2020. The project was initially expected to be completed by early 2026 but has since been delayed to Fall 2027.

B.C.'s PST expansion is a tax on tax, and everyone pays the price.

Come this fall, the cost of every new home, major project, and small business operation will cost more. Unlike other provinces, PST can't be claimed back in B.C., creating compounding costs throughout our economy.

At a time when we should be accelerating investment, housing, and economic growth, this tax on tax moves us in the wrong direction.
