What we do

The Children’s Foundation provides specialized treatment, counselling and attentive care to children, youth, and families with complex challenges through a variety of programs and services. Some of the challenges our clients face ranges from ASD, FASD, severe social, emotional, and developmental disorders and disabilities, and challenges that stem from a history of trauma, among many others.

It’s , and the perfect time to celebrate with a donation to TCF!

Join the generosity of The Wolrige Foundation, who supports our hot lunch program at Alderwood - Expanding the Circle. With their donation, we provide a daily meal and snacks to children, youth and their families participating in our programs such as parent and children’s groups as well as therapy sessions. Feeding bodies and minds!

With the help of our community, TCF is CHANGING LIVES EVERYDAY. We provide families with essential support for children facing complex challenges, enabling them to thrive.

This holiday season, please give to our Make a Difference fund, where all donations go directly to children, youth, and their families to purchase necessary food, clothing, and a little extra over the holidays to purchase a special gift for each child.

We were honoured with a visit from the Minister of Child and Family Development, Honorable Jodie Wickens. The Children’s Foundation along with DDA’s Infant Development and Fostering Early Development Program Leaders toured our Vancouver space and beautiful grounds. Over lunch, we discussed the real needs of the children and families we serve in Vancouver and across the Lower Mainland. The Minister appreciated the opportunity to see firsthand the work that local organizations do to support our most vulnerable. By working together, we can ensure the right supports, resources, and programs are in place so children and families can thrive.
