Cocoa is a gentle and sweet pup who loves everyone she meets. This polite lady is the perfect blend of a social butterfly and a professional napper. She is always on the lookout for the softest bed in the house.

Cocoa enjoys long, leisurely walks and playing with sticks & squeaky toys. She is good with other dogs and enjoys playing with them but is also content to do her own thing. This independent lady would be happy in a home on her own or with another dog but no cats please!

She is good on leash but will pull a bit if she’s ready to make friends. Seeing other dogs barking can get her very excited and she might bark at them expecting them to be want to play and be the best of friends. If you’re looking for a super social loving pup to join your family, Cocoa might just be your girl!

Kola is an amazing, very intelligent boy looking for a loving home!

Kola is an energetic playful pup who loves to be the centre of attention. He is very silly, and has a big personality. Although sometimes shy at first, Kola warms up to anyone and just wants to be your best friend. He is an amazing dog to go on adventures with, and when he chooses someone as his, he is the most loyal companion. He is an active dog, but is always right there when you want to sit down for a cuddle!

As Kola is still a puppy, he is still needing socialization and continuous training! Other more dominant dogs are quite intimidating at first but he warms up to them and then loves to play. He is getting more confident every day! When things get scary his favourite thing to do is sit down and observe, until he realizes he is okay and then goes back to his activities!

Because he is so smart he loves to learn tricks and is incredibly food motivated. He already knows sit, down, come, and is learning heel, stay, and centre! He also loves to play with puzzle toys, and always impresses with his determination and skill.

This incredible boy loves to melt hearts, no matter who you are. He loves playing with the neighbourhood kids, and has shared a home with multiple dogs and people. He travels well in the car and is currently also learning crate training.

Kola is an incredible dog, with a heart of absolute gold. All he wants is to be loved, and is very ready for a forever home and his own people!

Coco is the best little pup you could ask for. Despite the awful he has been through, his gentle personality shines through.

Coco’s owner of 13 years passed away and the family didn’t want him. He found himself left at one of the Riverside County Campus’ completely confused. He was on the at risk list and local rescues were not interested. Our team simply could not leave him there.

This old man deserved so much better. It was clear that he had been neglected for some time; he was emaciated and his teeth were rotted to the jawbone. It is one of the worst cases that we (and our vets) have ever seen. He had to undergo many extractions and his mouth had to be reconstructed in areas where the rot had completely infiltrated his gums and there was little to no gum left. Many teeth were just dangling. It’s incredible that he had survived the pain and deep infections.

Despite the journey here and his recovery from that and the complex surgery; Coco continues to show us his will to live and his desire to love. His story was not over yet!

Are you looking for the perfect buddy to get out in the sunshine with? Lightening is your boy! He is an incredibly dog and people friendly, active pup that loves to be outside. No matter the size, big or small, Lightening will quickly make friends and want to play (or snuggle). He is great on-leash and being the super smart pup he is, learns things very quickly. He is always up for a cuddle or a flop and belly rub. With excellent recall, this dog is as loyal and loving as they come.

Lightening is a gorgeous model of the breed and is in perfect health and ready for his forever home. His handsome looks stop traffic wherever he goes. He does not have any of the health/genetic concerns that can be typical of the breed. Lightening can get anxious being alone (likely due to never being in a home alone), but is perfectly happy with a pup companion. For that reason; we are looking for a home with another dog - ideally one that likes to play - or someone that is not gone for long hours every day. If he had his own yard and an active family, that would just be icing on the cake!

Lili is a sweet medium size dog that is looking for someone who is gentle and patient to help her with new experiences. She is still getting used to the world and gets nervous quite easily. Lili is very well behaved. She's still learning how to be a dog and that she’s allowed to have fun!

Her favourite pastimes are laying next to her human and going on quiet walks. This is where you'll see her personality shine. She's a lot more confident when walking on less busy streets but shes quickly building confidence on the busier ones too. Lili is curious and open to meeting new friends on walks as long as the other is calm. She's still learning personal space when she wants to meet someone.

Lili does not have any prey drive and would do well in a home with other pets if the other pets are lower energy and gentle. For this reason it is probably best she is in a quieter home - to not make things more stressful for her. Lili is also still getting used to car rides. She prefers to walk and will absolutely help you get your steps in. 😉
