Lana is the ultimate lap dog. Her go to move is crawling into your lap or flopping on her back for belly rubs. She seems to never get tired of all the love. Lana is incredibly sweet with kids and adults alike, not showing any preferences between men and women - if you want cuddles, she is in! Lana likes to go for long walks but prefers to stay out of the heat. She is fantastic inside the house and enjoys being a couch potato! Her gorgeous blue Merle colors and goofy face are hard not to fall in love with!

Lana was dumped and found as a stray. She is ready for a new lease of life and to be the best sidekick you could ask for!

Are you looking for the perfect dog? Then today might just be your lucky day! How this dog was dumped multiple times and then found as a stray is completely beyond us. Grace is as her name suggests, sweet, kind gentle and loving. She is the perfect blend of snuggly and greyhound like Zoomies , wrapped in a beautiful sleek package.

She has heterochromia (one striking blue eye and one warm brown eye) and the body of a whippet. Grace walks beautifully on leash, loves being outside, loves all other dogs (that we’ve seen) and seldom barks. She shows prey drive for rabbits outside but is amazing with both dogs and cats inside the house. She is working on keeping her paws off the counters though - so keep those delicious snacks out of sight! Loving and great with recall, this stunning pup is ready and more deserving than ever of her forever family.

Meet Obby! This sweet boy is so much fun and has such a zest for life. He has great energy and enjoys long walks and zooming around playing with a stick or a dog friend. This bouncy boy’s interests include sprinting around, rolling in a pile of blankets and chewing toys. He loves all people & dogs and is fine with cats but may try to play with them. Obby gives the most gentle kisses and loves snuggling up to you on the couch. He would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for an active pup who is also a snuggle bug!

The world’s watching soccer. We’re watching shelter space and the rising dangerous temps.

While headlines are focused on the biggest tournament in the world, our team is focused on something else entirely.

Yesterday we flew.

Today we flew again.

This Saturday, we’ll do it all over again.

Hundreds of highly adoptable dogs and cats are leaving overcrowded shelters for communities where families are already waiting to meet them.

But let’s be honest. Transportation isn’t the solution to pet overpopulation.

Spay and neuter is.

Until affordable, accessible spay and neuter becomes the norm, shelters will continue to fight an uphill battle, especially in the South where warm weather means kittens and puppies keep arriving.

This is an animal welfare crisis.

And until it isn’t, we’ll keep showing up.

Pecas is a super handsome, happy go lucky, up for an adventure kind of dog. He is always smiling and wagging his tail with an infectious energy. This sweet boy was abandoned and picked up as a stray. It’s impossible to imagine someone doing that to such a bundle of joy. Pecas enjoys cuddles and is great with kids and adults alike. He gets along well with other dogs and seems to have no reactions or issues with cats. Pecas would love a forever family of his own that would fill his days with love! He loves car rides and would make a great walking, hiking, running or just about anything buddy!
