They emerged the best in the entire sub-county at the recent district tournament—an incredible achievement from such humble beginnings.

They may not know what Tim Hortons is but that doesn't matter.
The chain tea restaurant of North America has done well and may not know the impact of their projects until they see this.

A Memorable Visit from Classrooms for Africa, Canada.

Yavins Education Centre was honored to host a visit from the Classrooms for Africa agency—an experience that brought inspiration, connection, and renewed purpose to our school community.

Students and staff warmly welcomed the delegation, whose passion for improving access to quality education was evident in every interaction.

Their engagement with learners and teachers sparked meaningful conversations, encouraged new ideas, and left our students feeling motivated and valued.

The visit also created an opportunity to share experiences, strengthen partnerships, and explore future possibilities for enhancing our learning environment. It was a powerful reminder that education thrives through collaboration and shared vision.
We are deeply grateful to Classrooms for Africa for their time and commitment. Their visit has left a lasting impact, and we look forward to building on this meaningful partnership.

Yavins Education Centre Tackles Health

At Yavins Education Centre, health is an essential part of our education campaign.
We recognize that while we are committed to fighting illiteracy, we must also address the medical needs of our children and the wider community connected to our school. A school is not just a place of learning — it is the heart of the community. We have small and insufficient medical supplies yet the needs need end.

For this reason, we are planning to incorporate a self-sustainable medical clinic at the Education Centre. This facility will serve our students and provide affordable healthcare services to the surrounding community.

By combining educational services with accessible healthcare, we aim to tackle health challenges holistically — nurturing both minds and bodies.
We ask you to pray with us and support us as we embark on this additional project for the school. The activities are present but the vision is growing and will take shape to look similar to what the photos portray.

We are not beyond hope. With the will of many and the grace of God, our Provider, we shall get there.

Two years ago, Yavins Education Centre reached out to well-wishers for seed funding to launch a poultry program.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, that call was answered by Childcare International Canada (CCI).

Our vision was simple but powerful: to establish a practical training program that empowers children through hands-on skills while supporting their academic, financial, and nutritional needs.

Today, the children in our program are not only caring for the poultry — they have learned basic veterinary skills and can treat the birds themselves. In exchange for their participation, they receive study scholarships, giving hope to many who come from impoverished homes and struggle to afford school fees.

When you support us, you are not just donating — you are investing in a sustainable model. We ask for seed input that helps our school remain self-reliant rather than dependent, creating long-term impact for families and the wider community.

At Yavins Education Centre, we believe in giving children more than education — we give them the tools to build their own future.

Thanks to the kindness of supporters like you, our students are learning through self-sustainable projects that teach responsibility, creativity, and independence. Instead of relying on endless handouts, we use donations as seed support — helping children create lasting solutions for their own growth and survival.

Our learners have already started vegetable gardens and animal-keeping projects. They proudly work together to grow food, care for animals, and raise funds for their own scholastic materials. Every small success builds confidence, dignity, and hope.

But we want to do more.

With additional support, we plan to expand into new projects such as arts and crafts, rabbit keeping, and a larger poultry project that will improve food security while generating income for the school.
