Happy Saturday, everyone!

We want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your continued support of our community barbecue.

At our last gathering, we reached a major milestone — over 10,000 meals served through the bbq alone this year.

This achievement would not have been possible without our incredible team, dedicated volunteers, generous donors, and the amazing supporters who show up week after week.

As we approach five years of keeping this bbq going strong, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement for the many more years ahead. This is truly a collective effort, and it continues because of all of you.

We’re also excited to share that tomorrow’s bbq is proudly sponsored by Aramark. Their team will be joining us on-site, serving meals with smiles. Our crew will be there as well, supporting alongside them to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and continuing this important work together.

Last Sunday marked our final barbecue of the month, and we want to take a moment to extend our sincere gratitude to the team at Wholesale Food Market – Robson location for bringing volunteers down and supporting us. Your partnership and hands-on support truly make a difference.

With your help, we wrapped up the month of March having served 2,768 meals.

We are incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished, especially after consistently showing up throughout the busy holiday season and beyond.

Please note that our staff will be taking a well-deserved break this long weekend to spend time with family, friends, and loved ones.

There will be no bbq tomorrow. We will return next Sunday, April 12th — same time, same location.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us. We appreciate you and look forward to seeing you next Sunday.

Big thank you to our brother Roman Ansari from Two Paychecks Away and Heart Tattoo Society for helping make this past weekend’s pow wow such a success.
We truly appreciate you—not just for what you do, but for who you are in the community. Your support means a lot, especially helping us provide meat to feed our Elders. That kind of love and respect doesn’t go unnoticed.
