Our 90+ Birthday Tea was a beautiful afternoon of celebration, bringing together Brock House members aged 90 and over, their families, and friends, to honour remarkable milestones. 🎉🎂💐🥳

Centenarian members were recognized with commemorative plaques that will be permanently displayed at the front entrance of Brock House, celebrating the lasting legacy they have helped build at BHS.

Special guest speakers shared personal stories and reflections on what Brock House and the Society have meant throughout their lives, reminding us that this House is built not by its walls, but by the people who fill it with connection and purpose.

Last week, Brock House Society hosted our very first Garden Art Party! 🎨🌞🐝🌸🪴🌷🌼🌿

Set in our beautiful front lawn, the afternoon celebrated the talented artists of Brock House in a dedicated, community-focused art show. Open to all, it was wonderful to see so many members, friends, and neighbours come together to enjoy an afternoon of creativity, conversation, and art by the sea.

Thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to create this event and thank you to those who attended - together we helped make our first Garden Art Party a very special moment.

As we slowly say farewell to summer and welcome the change of the season, here are some beautiful moments captured from our 2026 Summer Fair ☀️

It was an incredible turnout from both the Brock House community and the wider Vancouver community. Our volunteers welcomed visitors with warmth and kindness and our talented in-house chef treated us with a delicious BBQ spread made in our own kitchen. The atmosphere was accompanied by a remarkable lineup of musical and live performances as the sun set over the beach.

The success of the day wasn't measured by the wonderful turnout, but what can be accomplished by community spirit, joy, generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand. Thank you to our volunteers, convenors, staff, sponsors, honorary guests and every single member of our community who helped make this event possible. Including all visitors who chose to spend a summer afternoon with us.

We're excited to look ahead to our Fall Programming (now available to view on our website!) and we look forward to welcoming you back for our Christmas Fair! 🎄

Spend the afternoon surrounded by art & creativity at the beautiful heritage house and park gardens of Brock House, perched on the shore of Jericho Beach. Discover a variety of beautiful artworks created by our talented members. With a roster of 24 artists, featured works will span various mediums, including oil, watercolor, pastels, and porcelain paintings. Come for the art, stay for the beautiful setting and community!

Open to the public. Everyone is Welcome to this family friendly event.
