Our Story

HanVoice was started by three law students in 2007, concerned about the lack of an adequate Canadian response to one of the worst ongoing human rights crises of our generation.

Today, HanVoice seeks to engage, empower, and equip Canada and Canadians to become the world’s leading advocate on North Korean human rights and refugee issues. We are the Canadian advocate for North Korean human rights and refugees.
