Thanks to recent support from the RBC Foundation towards the expansion of our Fly-in Team-Based Care we’ve been able to partner with multiple new communities along the Northern Coastal region of British Columbia!

So far we’ve been able to visit these new locations already six times this year, flying in 25+ different practitioners who delivered over 300 in-person appointments 🤯

HWB and our new partner communities are forever grateful to RBC Foundation’s support that allows us bring health access and stability to more remote BC residents.

Back to school deliveries with Khalsa Aid Canada 🎒

We’ve been busy delivering 200 fully stocked backpacks to our partner communities across remote BC, helping youth start the school year prepared and stress-free.

Khalsa Aid serves communities around the world with both immediate relief and long-term solutions, and we’re proud to partner with them to serve Coastal British Columbia.

We hope every kid, teacher, and parent out there has had a smooth first week back!

It’s been incredible to watch & we can already see how much it helps to have all our shared passions firing in one space 💪

5 YEARS since Lindsay joined HWB 🥳 Here’s 3 of her favourite projects over the years.

Lindsay originally found us while searching for a volunteer position during Covid, just months after our inception. She later joined full-time as our Impact & Engagement Manager, and a few weeks ago stepped into her new role as Director of Programs.

HWB truly wouldn’t be where it is today without her.

HWB has expanded our Fly-In Dental Program to 3 new remote communities in BC!

This wouldn’t be happening without the generous support of Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation, who supported our previous expansion efforts in 2024, a highly successful program that reached over 1,200 people and delivered nearly 200 dental treatments.

Same mission, new communities! More updates to come 🚁
