Session 3 of the Youth Workers Forum!
Theme: Harm Reduction + Youth

Led by an awesome opening from our Mohawk Elder and delicious brunch sourced from rescued food through our food sovereignty program, we held candid conversations about harm and beyond the scope of substances.

Harm reduction can mean much more than the physical or mental aspects. We discussed a lack of attention to the spiritual harms of colonialism, the lack of rites of passage for our youth, and responsibility to hold our own spiritual work as youth workers.

Remember to fill your cup first before leading our folks to water in a good way! (If you know you know ;) )
