Greetings treasured Synergy Family,

The time has come for a turning of the page. A metamorphosis into something new.

Synergy is closing a chapter.
After two and a half years of running bi-weekly dances at The Beaumont Studios we are following the call to complete project in its current form and location.

Over this past cycle, it has been a magnificent experience of dance, music, and expansive personal journeys in each night. A deepening of a beautiful community around a pillar of embodiment and authenticity at the center. It has truly been an honor to share this space with you all.

We started Synergy with a passion for dance and a desire to create a new flavour of Ecstatic Dance in Vancouver. Through life changes, between us there are a parting of ways and styles of event curation.

Estara has moved to Victoria in the intention of a quieter landscape and lifestyle shift. She will be evolving the Synergy platform into new forms of events to be announced in the next months.
DM your email to .dakini get on her mailing list if you're interested in Vic events and stay tuned to the Synergy socials.

Vern is preparing for surgery, and focusing his energy on his health, counseling, and men’s work. Although hosting ecstatic dance isn’t in his cards this year he has an idea for the future that you can get on the email list now for by dming your email to . This will only be used for the future dance offering..

It was not an easy decision to end the cycle we have been in. This community was the priority in this decision. We knew we could reach out for more support however instead of holding on to something that didn’t feel fully aligned, we decided it was best to let it rest to make space for new offerings to take place.

The exciting thing is: without missing a beat, our dear friends at .ecstaticdance are happy to step in on our regular Tuesday slot with their ecstatic dance that has been running out of Maple Ridge and Abbotsford.

Music artists for Sept 10th:
~Tefa and -MK-~

Tefa and -MK- are a dynamic duo who have captivated audiences with their unique blend of music, spirituality and movement. Their journey began in 2021 when they crossed paths in Paxkan while co-producing the Healing Area for festivals in Canada. Since then, they have forged a deep connection as actors, spiritual individuals, and creative souls, later on as soulmates.

Marek, also known as -MK-, brings over a decade of experience as a DJ and musician, while Tefa brings her expertise as a therapist since 2015.

Together, they have created a space where people can come together to explore the depths of their being through music, dance, and spiritual connection. Since 2022, Tefa and -MK- have been hosting a monthly event of cacao and ecstatic dance at Paxkan Studio in Gastown.

Follow the inner wisdom
While our hearts dance alive
Moving through all emotions
Taking all the changes in stride~
Come dance in your exuberant truth!
This movement session will be a practice of deep listening through your senses, awakening dormant codes of somatic cognition and unfolding authentic expression.
Breathing deeply and flowing freely~
Coming back Home within.
This dance floor will be a safe space to express your process to the outer worlds without needing words. All expressions are welcome; please feel empowered to laugh, cry, scream and shout. This is a sober space, to embody your emotions fully without reliance on use of substance. Clear mind, centered hearts.
We are propagating a consent-based culture: please tune in with clear yeses and no's when engaging with others on the dancefloor. This is a judgement free zone. Here is a space to embody what's moving within you. No cameras or footage allowed. One of our team may take photos of the dj to share for their own profiles, yet this isn't a space for recording others in their movement journeys. This is a space of presence in the moment.
This will be a space to move to the beat of your heart, the rhythm of the depths of your being, and the spaces in-between sounds.
Your movement is your authentic art, waiting to be poured out onto the canvas of space and time.
