We are announcing that She Connects is officially closing after six years of volunteer-led mentorship for young women, girls, and gender non-conforming youth across Canada. đź’ś
We are immensely grateful to the mentors, mentees, volunteers, and board members who upheld the mission and worked with integrity to support youth across the country.
As a grassroots nonprofit, long-term funding challenges—and, importantly, a lack of fiduciary responsibility from some members of the final board—made continued operations unsustainable. In the interest of transparency, hiring managers may contact [email protected] to verify an individual’s involvement or role.
To all who contributed with care: thank you. The community we built together will continue to have an impact long after this chapter closes.
