Working at multiple levels, we aim to develop a suite of new Diversity and Inclusion initiatives across our Faculty. We have co-developed a series of initiatives that will improve the atmosphere for diversity and inclusion in our Faculty, help us directly gauge areas for improvement, help inform our future efforts, and build linkages across the undergraduate, graduate, staff and faculty. Development of educational and awareness materials for FoF to be disseminated through multiple modes of communication
Undergraduate quality-of-life survey of FoF undergraduate community
A Diversity & Inclusion Series with panel discussions and guest speakers series on topics chosen at the request of, and in consultation with, the Forestry Undergraduate Society (FUS) and Forestry Graduate Student Association (FGSA), Forestry Orientation Leaders (FOL), as well as faculty and staff
It is intended that many of these activities will provide long lasting benefits and that many of these activities will continue after the grant ends as part of the Diversity and Inclusion work of the FoF.
