Happy Pride Month 🌈

This Pride Month, our organization reaffirms its commitment to the dignity, equality, and human rights of every person.

No one should have to endure an endless struggle simply to live authentically, safely, and with dignity. Every individual deserves the freedom to exist without fear, discrimination, or exclusion.

We recognize that conversion therapy has caused lasting trauma for many people subjected to it and that it has not been shown to be effective in changing a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity. Respect for human dignity requires that all people be treated with compassion, understanding, and acceptance.

As we celebrate Pride Month, we stand alongside those who continue their journeys of healing and self-discovery. May we find the strength to overcome trauma, heal wounds, and build communities where every person can live with freedom, dignity, and hope.

Happy Pride Month.

UP Humanitarian Society – Statement of Principles

UP Humanitarian Society is committed to promoting human dignity, compassion, and respect for every person, regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, religion, culture, disability, sexual orientation, or background.

We reject antisemitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, racism, xenophobia, ableism, and every other form of hatred, discrimination, and dehumanization.

We recognize that conflicts around the world bring profound suffering to innocent people. Our role is not to deepen division or assign collective blame to entire communities. Instead, we encourage empathy, respectful dialogue, nonviolence, and peaceful solutions that uphold human rights and the dignity of all people.

We believe that every human life has equal value. Our commitment is to stand against prejudice, support inclusion, and foster communities where people are treated with fairness, compassion, and respect.

This statement reflects the core humanitarian values of UP Humanitarian Society and our commitment to serving all people without discrimination.

Support UP Humanitarian Society

Dear Friends, Community Members, and Supporters,

I am reaching out on behalf of UP Humanitarian Society to ask for support in the form of a donated computer, laptop, tablet, or iPad.

Like many small nonprofit organizations, we are working with limited resources. At the moment, much of our work is being done from a mobile phone. While this has allowed us to continue moving forward, it also creates challenges when it comes to website development, research, content creation, project planning, community outreach, and day-to-day administration.

Access to a computer or similar device would greatly improve our ability to grow and serve the communities we aim to support.

A donated device would help us:

• Develop and maintain our website

• Create educational and advocacy materials

• Expand community outreach initiatives

• Support projects focused on mental health and well-being

• Promote disability inclusion and accessibility

• Advocate for human rights and human dignity

• Coordinate volunteers and community-based programs

UP Humanitarian Society was founded on a simple belief: every person deserves respect, dignity, safety, and equal opportunity.

Our work is guided by values that include:

• Promoting non-violence and peaceful communities

• Supporting mental health awareness and inclusion

• Advocating for people with disabilities

• Defending human rights and human dignity

• Encouraging compassion, understanding, and cooperation

• Rejecting discrimination, racism, hatred, and exclusion in all forms

We believe that people from every background, culture, nationality, faith, and identity deserve kindness, respect, and the opportunity to thrive.

The nonprofit’s website, domain, and hosting infrastructure are already established, and work is actively underway. As Executive Director, I continue to dedicate my time and energy to building resources, programs, and initiatives that can create positive change both locally and globally.

If you are able to donate a device, provide technical assistance, contribute resources, or support our work financially, your contribution would have a direct impact on our ability to serve others and continue developing meaningful community projects.

Every act of support, no matter the size, helps move us closer to building safer, more compassionate, and more inclusive communities.

Thank you for taking the time to read our message and for believing in the power of community.

With gratitude,

Elijah Hayes
