We’re excited to announce the Ocean Conference of Youth Canada 2025, happening on August 29 at the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre at UBC (Vancouver), running from 9 am to 1 pm. This free, one-day event is for youth aged 15–18 who are passionate about climate and marine protection.
This year’s conference will feature 10+ professionals leading keynotes and panels across four main topics:
1. Policies, laws, and international collaboration regarding ocean protection
2. Technology and Innovation for Ocean Monitoring
3. Indigenous Ocean Stewardship and Traditional Knowledge
4. Biodiversity, Fisheries, Ocean Economy, and Ocean Health
You’ll hear directly from experts working on the front lines of these issues and have the chance to engage, ask questions, and build meaningful connections.
Check out more information on our website or https://www.humanandnature.club/ocean-conference-2025. Register now! In-person/virtual participation is both accepted!
We’re also recruiting for volunteers and team executives! If you’re interested in gaining experience in event planning, public relations, or youth engagement, apply now to join the organizing team.
If you know any youth who would benefit from this experience, we’d be so grateful if you could help us spread the word — whether it’s by forwarding this email, sharing our website, or posting about the conference on social media. Your support goes a long way in helping us reach more passionate youth across Canada.
