2027 Trail Passes Now On Sale (at least online)!

Trail passes now available for purchase. Once local vendors receive their allotment, we'll let everyone know. However, if you'd like to get ahead of the rush, purchase online, and everything will be mailed to you!

Purchasing a pass allows for funding to operate groomers, maintenance of trails, and various other items. Please consider buying trail passes for the 2027 season!

3rd Brook Bridge Re-opened To Traffic!👏

Culverts and trail work has been completed at 3rd Brook Bridge. Still use caution in the area as the new portion of the trail that the material came out of is still a bit soft, but no problem for quads, side by sides, or pickup trucks to travel over.

Thanks to Oldford's Sand and Gravel for the solid work, the Newfoundland & Labrador Snowmobile Federation for funding this project, Gander Club for their support, and riders who purchase trail passes and support the NLSF and our club fundraising. The money you use to do that helps get this work done!

🚨ROAD CLOSURE!🚧

Tomorrow (Tuesday, September 29th), from 8am to 12pm, trail will be closed 1km down from the Gate (Wesleyville side). Culverts (couple of 36's) going in to replace what's there. Use extreme caution when approaching the area while work is ongoing!

Trail Closed At 3rd Brook Bridge (Culverts Being Installed)🚧

Work has started on installing multiple culverts beyond 3rd Brook Bridge (Gander side). Contractor is utilizing material in the area, with heavy equipment operating over the next 7 to 10 days. This section of trail will be closed to ALL TRAFFIC. Folks can still access the Water Nipper Warmup Shelter from this side of the bridge, and folks from Gander can still access the area as far as where Boot Pond Road meets the KSA trail system (groomer turn around). Anyone hunting in the area, use extreme caution and be aware of the contractor working.

This work is funded through the Newfoundland & Labrador Snowmobile Federation and has been an issue for years, especially when trying to ride through the area during annual runoff. This work should take care of that issue!

We will notify the public via another post when the work is completed, with pictures!

New Newfoundland & Labrador Snowmobile Federation Directional Signage Installed On KSA Trail System

Over the last couple of weeks, trail users may have noticed new directional signage at intersections and major travel points along our system. These new signs, with blue backdrop, red borders, NLSF and KSA logos, and white lettering, have replaced most of the previous signage that was developed between Indian Bay Ecosystem Corporation and KSA. A few more signs will be installed in the coming weeks, while some older signage will also continue to be used at various points.

We thank the youth and staff of IBEC for switching these signs throughout the trail system and for cutting "trouble trees" that were leaning over the trail or already broken off and resting on other trees in multiple areas. Come winter, these would be the first trees on the trail being an issue for the groomer. And thanks to current and former KSA volunteers who played a role in developing locations and distances for the signage! Huge team effort!

Thanks to multiple groups who are working on specific areas of the trail system (cabin groups, road groups, Indian Bay ATV and Recreational Trail Users), and those who supported our fundraiser draw that allows us to purchase these items and focus on helping the riding experience in the area!

Culverts Being Installed! Use Caution!⚠️

Emergency work being done currently in between Old Dump Road and the end of the trail. Water building up and old culvert there have collapsed. Boys dropping a couple new culverts in and fixing the road up afterwards. Should be all done in the next couple of hours.

Matt is the very excited winner of our Canada 🇨🇦 Day ATV Draw! The 2026 Can-Am Outlander Max XT 850, purchased from Central Cycle & Recreation, goes to a local winner once again!

Thank you to Robbins' Value Grocer for having the bike on site for the last little while, Winsor's Home Hardware for having us on site with the bike, Central Cycle for the great service and selling tickets for us, to the Newfoundland & Labrador Snowmobile Federation for their support, the New-Wes-Valley Fire Department for letting us use the fire hall for the draw, and to everyone that continues to support our fundraising efforts to improve the trail system we all enjoy. All funds raised will go into trail improvements this year!

Less Than 50 Tickets Remain on the 2026 Can-Am Outlander Max XT 850!

Draw is in less than 48 hours (Canada 🇨🇦 Day)! We have less than 50 tickets remaining on the Outlander purchased from Central Cycle & Recreation. All proceeds go towards trail improvements within KSA country! 450 tickets printed, $100 each!

Draw will take place at 4pm from the New-Wes-Valley Fire Station in Wesleyville. It will be done on Facebook Live so tune into the page to make sure you see the draw happen live on Wednesday afternoon!
