This week, we had the opportunity to recognize and thank our volunteers — a group that plays such an important role in our hospital.

More than 250 volunteers give their time to support Uxbridge Hospital. They are present in clinics, helping patients find their way, welcoming visitors in the gift shop, and out in the community raising funds through Chances Are and Run for the Diamond. Volunteers also support the Foundation through board and committee work, helping guide and strengthen the future of care in our community.

They show up with kindness, patience, and a genuine willingness to help. They are woven into the fabric of this hospital.

If you’ve ever walked through our doors, chances are you’ve felt their impact — in the quiet conversations, the reassuring presence, and the small moments that make a difficult day a little bit easier. It’s also reflected in the pride they have for this hospital and this community.

We are very fortunate to have them.
