Heroes For Hunter Hunter Marsden is an 8 year old grade 3 student from St. Margarets Bay NS. He has Stage 4 Neoblastoma. This page is to inform you of upcoming fundraisers.

He has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroblastoma. A childhood cancer. He is considered high risk and needs our help. This page was created keep you informed of links and fundraising events where you can be involved in helping Hunter and his family fight his fight. The staggering financial and emotional burden on his family is overwhelming. Hunter will undergo 3-4 months of Chemotherapy he

re in Halifax and then travel to Toronto's Sick Kids Hospital for stem cell therapy treatments. The next year of their life will be spent in Hospitals caring for Hunter along with trying to keep life as normal as possible for Hunters little sister. Loss of income has made this an impossible task without our help. Here is our team IN YOUR CORNER picture from last night! I am so extremely honoured and proud to be part of this… A shout out to Tribal Boxing Club owner AND Canadian national boxing silver medallist Natteal Battiste and to Canadian national team and Olympic Boxing coach Brad Ross - thank you so much for welcoming us in to Tribal boxing club and for all your time training us and getting us ready! To IN YOUR CORNER founder Sean Marsden thank you for inviting us to be part of such a great cause and for honouring your late son Hunter in such an unbelievable way in order to help others!

Our final night of training was last night for The IN YOUR CORNER charity event that is taking place this Friday
at the The Westin Nova Scotian ...we have been training so hard for over 5 months to be ready to get in the ring and fight. A shout out to my (Frankie Hollywood's) opponent Dan Roy whom I'll be exchanging fists with Friday Night...and to all the boxers on the card - I am so extremely proud of you and to be part of this journey with you and to fight beside you! LET'S GO!!!

IN YOUR CORNER was founded by Sean in memory of his late son Hunter and it's for families with kids battling cancer, being there for their kids means lost wages, mounting costs, and impossible choices...like choosing between paying your mortgage or rent or being there by your child's side!
In Your Corner helps lift that weight by funding support so parents can stay focused on the fight — not the bills. IN YOUR CORNER - Supporting families fighting from home.

We're only 9 days away from our big event, In Your Corner! Fighting for Families battling childhood cancer!🎗️
We're happy to say that all of the tables have sold out however, we are still in need of more items for our silent auction.🤞
Being our first year, we're happy to almost have this under our belt! Our goal this year is to raise $100,000 so that we can provide 20 IWK families with $5,000 each to help during this devastating time. Whether it covers a mortgage payment, bills or puts food on the table, we just want to help ease some of their pain. Focusing on your child is what matters the most!

We would be incredibly grateful if you would consider contributing a donation to our silent auction. Items such as gift cards, merchandise, services, sport tickets or themed packages all help make the event a success and directly impacts the families we serve. Even a small monetary donation will help to purchase gift cards as we're hoping to have a couple GC trees. 100% of all proceeds will be helping so many families!

participation in IN YOUR CORNER - The charity boxing fund
raiser at the The Westin Nova Scotian May 15 that I (Frankie Hollywood) will be fighting in - that's raising funds to support kids
with cancer because the last thing parents should be worried
about when they are sitting beside their kids bed in the IWK is
how they are going to pay the rent...or mortgage...or power

We're so excited to have our first big fundraising event in honour of Hunter through his foundation, Hunter's Committee through the Kindred Foundation! Our Boxing Event is going to be an epic night supporting children and their families battling cancer!🎗️ Definitely one that is very close to our hearts as we couldn't have focused just on Hunter's treatment and our family without the financial support from Heroes for Hunter.🥰

Our goal is to provide 20 more Maritime families who have a child battling cancer some financial assistance. We're giving a $5000 donation per family and we're pleased to say we've already helped out 12 families through donations to the foundation!❤️💛

It's been 2 years since you gained your Angel Wings Sweet Pea.💔 It feels like only yesterday and an eternity all at once. We miss you so much.😢
We shed tons of tears all the time but also have lots of laughs and smiles remembering the good times. We cherish those memories but wish we would have had many more with you.
