⚽️ The #1 Soccer Camp on the North Shore is back… with a new format!

This time, we’re taking soccer off the field and into the classroom.

Players will spend the morning and early afternoon at William Griffin ATF with our NVFC coaches, developing their skills, playing small-sided games and getting plenty of touches on the ball.

Then, at 2:15pm, we’ll head to Delbrook Community Recreation Centre for a different kind of soccer experience.

🧠 2:30–4:00pm | Soccer Classroom

Players will:
• Watch and break down match clips
• Explore formations and tactics
• Plan set pieces on tactics boards
• Take part in a team soccer quiz

Younger players will enjoy age-appropriate activities, including designing their own team kit and crest.

As we celebrate National Coaches Week, we wanted to take the opportunity to recognize a coach who has made an exceptional impact at North Vancouver FC.

We don’t often dedicate a post to a single coach, but Mike Robson is someone whose contribution to our club deserves to be highlighted.

Mike has been a coach, mentor, leader and, above all, a tremendous influence on the players he has worked with over the years.

Over five seasons, his team played 128 games, winning 99 of them, with 369 goals scored and only 99 conceded. Along the way, they won 3 league titles, 3 Coastal Cup Championships, 3 Provincial Cup Championships and a National Championship bronze medal. They reached 5 consecutive Coastal Cup finals and qualified for the Provincial Cup 5 straight years. In total, they medaled in 10 of 11 cup competitions.

But Mike’s legacy goes well beyond the results.

His approach to coaching has always been about developing players as people as well as soccer players. His former players speak about the life lessons, experiences, memories, mentorship and example he gave them along the way.

That is what makes a coach truly special.

Mike, thank you for your years of dedication, the countless hours you have given to the players, the families and the club, and for setting such a high standard of commitment and passion.

Your impact on North Vancouver FC will be remembered well beyond the trophies and medals.

Thank you, Mike.

🍁 Three NVFC alumni. Three unique journeys. One Team Canada.

North Vancouver FC is proud to celebrate Bo Dunn, Jacqueline Cuthill and Grace Robson on their selection to Canada’s Women’s National Team U16 squad for the team’s international camp and matches in Poland.

Each player followed a different pathway, but all spent important years developing within the NVFC community. From grassroots soccer and Select programs to BCSPL competition, they embraced challenges, built lasting friendships, and consistently pushed themselves to reach the next level.

🇨🇦 Bo grew up at NSGSC, progressing through the club from her earliest soccer years to the join NVFC’s BCSPL team before earning opportunities with the Whitecaps Girls Elite Academy and Vancouver Rise Academy.

🇨🇦Jacqueline came from WVFC in 2021 and became a key member of the club’s 2010 Girls BCSPL team, helping capture a BC Provincial Championship, finishing 3rd at the Dana Cup in Denmark and advancing to Nationals before continuing her development with Vancouver Rise Academy.

🇨🇦 Grace began her soccer journey at NVFC, spending her formative years playing with teams of mostly boys, including select level U9-U11s. In 2023, she joined the NVFC 2009 Girls BCSPL team for the Dana Cup, helping the team earn a historic bronze medal. She currently plays for Vancouver Rise Academy.

Today, they wear the maple leaf on the international stage, but they will always be part of the NVFC family.

Congratulations Jacqueline, Bo, and Grace. We are proud of all you have accomplished and wish you every success in Poland and beyond. ❤️🤍
