Going on vacation or celebrating a special event? If you’d like to help Tikko raise autism awareness leave a message in the comments below.

Next month is Autism Awareness month, but here at Tikko Travels EVERY MONTH IS AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH!

We’d like to invite you to JOIN THE JOURNEY!

This year we’d like to try something new. Would you be interested in getting aboard the Tikko train? In 2025 we’re going to create a link around the globe as far as we can!

We’ll send one lucky winner a “travelling Tikko”. To sign up, all you need to do are these 3 things:

1. Send us your Tikko pics (scenery, people, landmarks, animals, cuisine, etc…any pics featuring Tikko). We’ll create a special photo album for you on Tikko’s FB page. (When you share the album with your friends, that’s helping raise awareness too!)

2. Most important: Share with people where Tikko’s been and why he travels…(or you can share the video below). You don’t need to be an autism expert. Once people know our bear travels for Autism Awareness, chances are they’ll have their own autism stories to share…most people know someone living with autism. Invite people to join our Facebook community. This is where they’ll learn about autism…and our autism families will feel supported. 💕

3. After your event/vacation you’ll be responsible for sending Tikko to the next person on our list. (And we’ll be so grateful for your support!) 💕💕

Let’s see how far across the globe we can send Tikko this year! You’ll not only be helping Tikko raise awareness, you’ll also be joining in the fun! 🎉🎉🎉

For over a decade, AuSM has proudly partnered with the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to support the Navigating MSP program. This initiative, a collaboration with the Metropolitan Airports Commission and Fraser, offers travelers with autism and other disabilities an opportunity to take free practice runs through the airport.

🌟 Summer Volunteer Opportunity! 🌟

Are you a student looking for a fun, hands-on experience working with autistic children? Camp AUsome! We:Play is looking for 15 student intern volunteers (ages16+) to support campers, ages 5-11, in 1:1 social, sensorimotor, and communicative recreational activities.

Camp dates: June 16-20, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: San Antonio, TX
Who can volunteer? Students interested in working with kids, neurodiversity, therapy, or education
Mandatory training: Friday, June 6 (9:00 AM or 1:00 PM)

Why volunteer?
