Do you recognize this man? At 7:14am today (Friday, July 10th) he pulled into our parking lot and abandoned a tote full of 14 kittens on the front bench then ran back to his car. We understand our (and all of the other shelters) waiting lists are long...but there is a limit to we (all) can do and reasons why we have policies in place for intake. At the end of the day...getting your pets spayed/neutered is the answer and we have ways to help there too!!!! BUT ABANDONEMENT IS NEVER THE ANSWER AND IT'S ILLEGAL. Our security camera company is working to decipher the license plate but in the meantime...we know our always come through for us. And you're right...he didn't dump them in the woods and yes, they're safe here now...but breaking the law is never the answer. 🥺

Please reach out to Officers Henning or Jacobson if you have any information here, [email protected] or 814-572-5913 call/text.
