The future of the skilled trades is looking bright! 👏

The Mainland Nova Scotia Building Trades recently hosted the 10th Annual Indigenous Youth Skilled Trades Fair, where Ray Lawrence, RSE Safety/Industrial Coatings Applicator Instructor, gave youth the opportunity to get hands-on with a spray-painting simulator and put their skills to the test!

We love seeing young people explore the skilled trades and discover new opportunities for their future.

We can’t wait for the next event! 🙌

Have you ever been to the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site in Baddeck, N.S.? If not, then you should definitely add it to your bucket list!

Our newer glazing signatory contractor, Paul’s Glass & Doors, and Local 1945 members have been hard at work giving the historic A-frame building some much-needed updates to its glazing infrastructure.

We’re proud to see our members helping preserve and improve such an incredible piece of Nova Scotia’s history!

Great work, everyone!
