In studio today with the one and only Rick Campanelli — aka “Rick the Temp” — one of Canada’s most iconic media personalities.

From winning the MuchMusic Temp contest in 1994 to becoming “The Franchise,” Rick spent over a decade as a staple on MuchMusic, ET Canada, and shaping an entire generation’s connection to pop culture.

But Rick’s story doesn’t stop there.

Today, he’s still behind the mic and in front of the camera — as a radio voice on CHFI and live-eye reporter with Breakfast Television Toronto. And while his resume spans decades of Canadian broadcasting, his most meaningful role is off-screen: dad to three amazing kids.

In this episode, we talked about music, media, family, fatherhood, and what it’s like to evolve in the spotlight while staying grounded in your values.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
This little cookie shop has been an adult life long dream of mine. Our brick and mortar has been open for just over one year and I am so thankful. I'm thankful for my family and friends who encouraged me to follow my dream. 💭 I am thankful for the tradespeople who brought my dream to reality. 🔨I'm thankful for my neighbourhood and the wonderful business people I share my hopes and fears with. I'm thankful for my amazing cookie team. 💫These gals (and Todd) keep me sane and focussed. I couldn't do it without them, and I wouldn't want to!!! And, I am so grateful for every customer.
