Last week, 10-14th of August, 12 Explorers/Sr. Explorers and 4 Leaders from Markdale, North Bay, Waterloo, Palmerston, & Williamsburg joined me on our 3rd Annual Backcountry trip. This years trip was to the beautiful French River Provincial Park. Setting out from Hartley Bay Marina we paddled the Lower French River even cutting out into Georgian Bay for a couple kilometres before heading back inland. An amazing trip and lots of fun. Another great group!!!

Total kilometres of the trip was 44km!!!
Awesome job everyone!!!

This week, the National Commissioner has decided to take a break and will only be available for emergencies (because he does not have much mobile signal). At the same time Scouter Kim is part of the group who are on an adventure to Manitoulin Island! Have amazing summer adventures everyone! ☀️
