We are a combined MOPS (birth - preschool) and MOMSnext (elementary and older) group. We meet two Thursdays mornings per month, September - May, at Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo. We offer childcare during meetings, a hot meal for moms, and a place for moms to connect with other moms. If you have any questions or would like to attend a meeting please send us a message.

We have some exciting news!

As our group continues to grow and evolve, we are transitioning over to a brand new page with our updated and official name: Olivet MOMCO to encompass ALL MOMS in EVERY stage of motherhood 💛

This fresh page will help us better connect with moms in the Fargo-Moorhead area and create a clearer space for everything our group is about — genuine friendship, encouragement, practical support, laughter, growth, and doing motherhood together. Because let’s be honest… motherhood was never meant to be done alone.

If this group has encouraged you in any way, we would be so grateful if you would:
✨ Follow our new page
✨ Share it with a mama in the Fargo-Moorhead area
✨ Invite someone who may be craving connection, community, and support in this season of life

Whether you’re a brand new mom, deep in the school-age years, somewhere in between, or simply searching for “more” in motherhood — there is a seat for you here.

We can’t wait to continue building a community where moms feel seen, supported, uplifted, and reminded that they do not have to carry motherhood alone. 💕

Don’t forget to SAVE the DATES for our upcoming meetings for next year & WATCH for our summer meetup opportunities COMING SOON!

As many of you know, MOPS originally stood for "Mothers of Preschoolers," and while that season of motherhood is so important, moms don't stop needing community once their children grow older.

Over time, the organization evolved into MOMCO — short for Mom Community — to better reflect the heart behind the mission: supporting and encouraging moms in every stage of motherhood.

Because our local chapter has been volunteer-led and passed down through different leadership teams over the years, we unfortunately were unable to update and salvage our old page (Olivet MOPS Fargo). Because of that, we are transitioning over to a brand new page here at: Olivet MomCo Fargo

If you believe in creating a place where mothers can find genuine friendship, support, encouragement, laughter, growth, and community — If this group has encouraged you in any way, we would be so grateful if you would:
✨ Follow our new page
✨ Share it with a mama in the Fargo-Moorhead area
✨ Invite someone who may be craving connection, community, and support in this season of life

We are already looking ahead to an amazing year starting back up this fall, and our summer meetup calendars will be coming soon.

We can't wait to gather together again. 💛

We don’t need more perfectly curated lives — we need more genuine connection.
More gathering around tables instead of performing for screens.
More kindness.
More checking in.
More people willing to pull up an extra chair and make room for someone else.

Because that’s how community grows.
Not through perfection, but through presence.
Through showing up as we are.
Through laughter, messy conversations, shared struggles, and the reminder that none of us were meant to do life alone.

In a world that constantly pushes comparison, maybe the most powerful thing we can offer one another is simply this:
You belong here too.

There’s just something so grounding about slowing down long enough to put pen to paper and talk honestly with God. 🤍

I’ll be the first to admit consistency doesn’t always come easy in motherhood. Life is loud, busy, exhausting, and sometimes survival mode takes over. But I absolutely love the idea of creating space for prayer journaling and really want this to become a growth area for me this season.

So tell me, mamas —
Who here already has a consistent prayer journal routine? 🙋🏼‍♀️
And who would love to start but struggles to make it part of everyday life? ✍🏻📖

One thing I love about the prayer journal prompts from MOMCo is that they make it feel less overwhelming. Sometimes all we need is a gentle starting point to reconnect our hearts with God in the middle of the chaos of motherhood.

Maybe this can be the season we stop putting pressure on perfection and simply focus on showing up — one prayer, one page, one honest moment at a time. 🤍

Drop a 🙏🏻 if you’re in your prayer journal era with me.

As we begin dreaming and planning for another year of MOMCO, one thing we have loved this year is creating opportunities that add value while supporting mothers not just spiritually and emotionally… but physically too. 💛

After our recent core strength & pelvic floor health event, many moms shared how much they would LOVE to hear from someone who specializes in women’s hormones and all the shifts our bodies experience through different seasons of life.

And honestly… the more we talked, the more we realized so many things seem connected:
✨ hormones
✨ thyroid health
✨ gut health/GI issues
✨ energy levels
✨ stress
✨ motherhood & mental load
✨ feeling “off” and not knowing why

So by a show of hands… how many ladies would be interested in a future learning opportunity centered around helping women better understand and support their health through the many phases of motherhood and womanhood? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Would you prefer:
💛 A strictly hormone-focused event?
💛 Hormones + thyroid health?
💛 A broader women’s wellness conversation including gut health/GI issues too?

Drop your thoughts below or send us a message — we would love your feedback as we plan future speakers and events for our MOMCO community.

🌸 Tomorrow is Mother’s Day… and while the world often measures motherhood by spotless homes, curated moments, and perfectly packed lunches… Heaven sees something much deeper. 💐🙏🏻

Some moms are holding everyone else together while quietly feeling worn down themselves.

Some are exhausted.
Some are overwhelmed.
Some are grieving.
Some feel unseen.
Some are trying to heal while they parent.
Some are carrying invisible emotional loads no one else notices.
Some are spiritual mothers pouring love into others without having children of their own.
Some are foster moms, adoptive moms, stepmoms, grandmas, aunties, mentors, and women who simply love others with a mother’s heart.

And some women are quietly carrying the heartbreak of still waiting…
waiting for positive tests,
waiting for answered prayers,
waiting after loss,
waiting after disappointment,
waiting while wondering if motherhood will ever happen for them.

Mother’s Day can feel beautiful for some and deeply painful for others all at the same time. 💔

And yet…
so many women still keep showing up.

Still praying.
Still sacrificing.
Still loving.
Still trying.
Still choosing others even while carrying heavy things themselves.

Mama, hear this today:

MOTHERHOOD IS HOLY WORK. 👑

And nurturing hearts, loving deeply, serving faithfully, and carrying others through life with compassion matters in the Kingdom too.

Every prayer whispered over your children…
every sleepless night…
every sacrifice…
every hard conversation…
every tear cried behind closed doors…
every moment you choose grace when you’re running on empty…

God sees it ALL. ♥️

You do not have to mother perfectly to mother powerfully.

The Kingdom is often built in the ordinary moments:
in bedtime snuggles,
in wiping tears,
in making dinner when you’re exhausted,
in apologizing after hard days,
in showing up again and again with love.

The world applauds polished motherhood.
But God honors faithful motherhood.

And to the woman wondering if she’s enough…
please remember:
your love is leaving fingerprints on people’s hearts in ways you may never fully realize this side of Heaven.

Your presence matters.
Your prayers matter.
Your love matters.
YOU matter.

So today we celebrate:
💖 mamas
💖 spiritual mamas
💖 grandmas
💖 foster & adoptive moms
💖 aunties
💖 mentors
💖 women longing to become mothers
💖 women carrying others through life with love and compassion

THANK YOU for continuing to pour out love even when it’s hard, messy, exhausting, and unseen.

The world desperately needs more women who love like Jesus. 🙌🏻

“Her children arise up, and call her blessed…” — Proverbs 31:

I pray this Mother’s Day weekend that you would feel God gently reach down and touch your heart in the places that feel weary, unseen, overwhelmed, or heavy. 🌸

I pray He reminds you that the love you pour out daily is not wasted.
The sacrifices matter.
The prayers matter.
The nurturing matters.
The showing up again and again matters.

Even on the days you feel unnoticed…
He sees you.

Even when motherhood feels messy and exhausting…
He is using it for good.

The Kingdom work you are doing is making an eternal difference, even in the ordinary moments and even when you cannot yet see the impact. 👑♥️

May you feel deeply loved, strengthened, and reminded this weekend that God chose YOU for the little hearts and lives you are pouring into. 🙏🏻
