Clean Harbours Initiative

I acquired this piece of property a while back with an old government wharf on it. The wharf is beyond repair and I am in the process of removing it.

The goal is to replace the existing wharf with all rocks and new cribbing on the side.

It will cost approximately $7,000.00 to purchase and place the rocks to complete this job.

We have a supporter who has agreed to donate the logs to build the cribs, all we have to do is cut them off of her private property this winter.

When we get this wharf rebuilt it will be used to off load the ocean trash we will be removing and as a spot to tie up our boats between clean ups.

Of course the locals that help with the rebuild will be more than welcome to tie up their boats here as well.

Anything that you would like to donate would be greatly appreciated, anything from a bucket of rocks to a box of spikes, it will all help!

Hi friends!

In the next two weeks we need raise $700.00 to cover the cost of our next two clean ups! Each clean up cost approximately $350.00. That is to cover the cost of gas for the boats and for the trucks when we haul the recovered ocean trash to be properly disposed of!

Hi friends!

We are super excited to officially announce that we are working with Global Heroes and will be featured in an episode of "It's a Beautiful World"!

We will be filming on the 9th and 10th of July in and around the Twillingate & New World Island area!

We are planning on doing a harbour clean up in Farmers Arm, a place where I spent my days as a child growing up!

We are also going to be doing a shoreline clean up but will be holding off on announcing that location till a later date!

This episode is potentially going to be seen by millions of people and so is your Logo if you purchase an add space on our boat!

A big shout out to Avalon Industrial in Bay Roberts for once again stepping up to make sure we have the safety equipment needed to do our work!

Two weeks ago I accidentally set off two inflatable life vests in one day and today Bob installed two new kits as a donation to Clean Harbours Initiative!
