Today we celebrate an incredible milestone at The Salvation Army — 40 years of dedicated volunteering by Pam Rogers! ❤️
For four decades, Pam has generously given her time, compassion, kindness, and heart to our community. Her unwavering dedication has touched countless lives and made a lasting difference every single day.
Pam, thank you for the many hours, the caring spirit, the warm smiles, and the love you have poured into serving others over the years. Volunteers like you are truly the heart of The Salvation Army.

The family has asked that I share an invitation to Honor the life of Amanda.

Amanda was loved and will be remembered as a beautiful soul. She was often seen rescuing animals or helping people in our community in any way she could.

Amanda will be missed by her family and the people who know her.

RIP Amanda. You've left earth far too soon but Heaven has recieved another angel.

Attention Customers:

Please respect our sign at the back door. We generally accept donations every day of the week but we just can't right now. Our sheds are overflowing. We are doing our best to empty our sheds to accept donations this week but we cant make progress if our sign is ignored.

Shown in the photo are wonderful items that we would normally be happy to take but I have no where to put this amount. Whoever dropped them off literally put them behind the sign so there is no way this was missed. I watched you on the camera take a second to read the sign, choose to ignore it, then literally walk around it and even bumped into the sign.

Please respect our sign and do not dump your items at the backdoor. Ring the doorbell or come in and speak with a volunteer. Dont just dump things.

We Cannot accept:
Large prices of furniture
Glassware
Books

Ring the bell at the side door and wait for someone to come out to accept your donations.

Please DO NOT leave items at the store when the store is closed.

The Tweed Food Bank is seeing more and more individuals and families turn to us for support, and right now, we could use a little help from our community.
For many, the rising cost of groceries and everyday essentials has made it difficult to keep food on the table. Behind every food hamper is a neighbour, a senior, a parent, or a child going through a difficult season.
We have included a wish list of needed items and would be deeply grateful for any donations you are able to provide. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring comfort, dignity, and hope to someone in need.
Thank you for continuing to support The Salvation Army Tweed Food Bank and the people in our community who rely on these services each day. ❤️
