We have had to make a few changes to how we recieve donations. Please read:

🚨 DONATION DROP-OFF POLICY 🚨
PLEASE READ BEFORE LEAVING A DONATION
DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ONLY:

📅 TUESDAYS • THURSDAYS • SATURDAYS
🕙 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📦 LARGE DONATIONS
More than 6 large bags at one time MUST be arranged in advance.
Please contact Sheri before bringing large quantities.

♻️ WHAT WE ACCEPT
We accept clothing and items that are:
✔️ Clean
✔️ In good condition
✔️ Resalable
✔️ Properly bagged or packaged
Please do not donate broken, dirty, damaged, or unusable items.

🚫 NO AFTER-HOURS DROP-OFFS
DO NOT LEAVE DONATIONS OUTSIDE THE STORE.
Items left after hours will be considered ILLEGAL DUMPING and may be reported to police.

🚨 PLEASE READ — AFTER-HOURS DONATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE 🚨
We need to address something that continues to happen at our thrift store.
Please DO NOT leave donations at the store after hours. This includes leaving bags, boxes, furniture, or other items outside the building when the store is closed.
Our donation area has been closed for the past week because we are completely overwhelmed with donations and our staff and volunteers have been working hard to get caught up. We have intentionally stopped accepting donations so we can process what we already have.
Unfortunately, donations are still being left outside after hours — including a very large donation left recently.
We truly appreciate the generosity of our community. We really do. ❤️ But when donations are left outside without staff present, they become our responsibility to move, sort, clean, process and find space for. When we are already trying to catch up, unexpected after-hours donations put us even further behind.

Please respect our donation hours and our posted signs.

📌 If the sign indicates we are not accepting donations DO NOT just leave them anyway.
📌 Please do not leave anything outside.
📌 Donations left after hours may be discarded if they are damaged, wet, contaminated, or otherwise unsuitable for resale.

We promise — we WANT your donations! We just need to be able to receive them when our staff and volunteers are here to safely handle them.

❤️ From the Bottom of Our Hearts — THANK YOU! 🚒
What an incredible day! Fill the Truck event was a huge success, and we owe a massive thank you to everyone who helped make it happen.

And then there are our incredible Tweed Firefighters. 🚒❤️
This truly was a team effort. Every one of these guys worked hard to make this happen — organizing, washing trucks, making signs, reaching out to sponsors, promoting the event, collecting donations, loading everything up and delivering the entire haul to our food bank.
They gave their time, their energy and their hearts — and they did it all with smiles and so much enthusiasm.

Our firefighters give so much to this community as volunteers, and today was another beautiful example of the difference they make.

A very special thank you to Stan Clifford. ❤️
Stan saw a need in OUR community and stepped up. He rallied his fellow firefighters, got the ball rolling and brought everyone together to make this incredible day happen.
But this belongs to every single member of the Tweed Fire Department who showed up and worked their butts off. You should all be incredibly proud of what you accomplished today.

Stan, what you have done means more to me personally than I can say. I see every day the people who rely on our food bank, and knowing that you cared enough to step up and help them means the absolute world to me.
You didn't just fill a truck. You helped fill our shelves, our community's cupboards, and my heart. ❤️

And to every single person who donated — THANK YOU. Every item matters, and every donation will stay right here in Tweed to help someone in OUR community.
This is what community looks like. And today, Tweed showed up. ❤️🚒

🚒 Let’s Fill the Truck, Tweed! 🥫❤️
Don’t forget to stop by Tom’s Independent tomorrow between 9:00am-1:00pm and help the Tweed Fire Fighters fill the truck with food items to support our local food bank!
100% of everything that goes into that truck stays right here in Tweed and lands on the plate of someone in need in OUR municipality. ❤️
Our community’s most vulnerable people need our help, and every donation — big or small — makes a difference.
👨‍🚒 Bring the kids! Come meet our amazing firefighters, check out the cool fire trucks, and show them what it means to give back to their community!
