This would be a great event to attend out at Onslow Belmont Fire hall and is the work of your Colchester REMO - Regional Emergency Management Organization.
Be prepared!

The Colchester Regional Emergency Management Organization will be at the Onslow Belmont Firehall on Wednesday, June 24th at 6:30pm.

We will discuss the importance of knowing the risks in your community and how to be prepared for 72-hours if an emergency did occur.

Colchester REMO will also have FireSmart Canada information available to show you how to make your property more resilient to wildfires.

Everyone is welcome, hope to see you there!

Yesterday was a busy day with 3 calls for service for Bible Hill Fire & Emergency.

We were very happy to be one of two locations chosen this weekend to host the training group Fire Training Associates.
Bible Hill Fire & Emergency had several members participate today in this training.
This would explain the very robust and busy hall today in Village of Bible Hill.
Fire departments from PEI, Cape Breton, Halifax and Pictou County among other participated along with several local members from Onslow Belmont Fire Brigade, Valley-Kemptown & District Fire Brigade, Truro Fire Service, and Salmon River Fire Brigade among others.

Things are kicking off in Bible Hill with Jerry Herbst-Fire this morning before hands on training. 🔥

Special thanks to Bible Hill Fire Department and members for helping support this training!

We are very proud of our Bible Hill Fire & Emergency Firefighter Malik and truly hope he is able to make his way back to this area for work as he is a great Firefighter and wish him well in his new Policing role!

Last weekend was very busy for us and for other fire services in the area.
Thanks to North River and District Fire Brigade who assisted us on an MVC call on Sunday just as they had a call of a woods fire in their area. Bible Hill Fire & Emergency was covering calls in Truro at the time and were able to head back to help get North River to their call quickly from our area.
