🌈 Happy Pride Month from The Lotus Centre 🌈

This month, we celebrate love, identity, courage, and the beautiful diversity that makes our communities stronger. At The Lotus Centre, we are committed to creating a space where everyone feels seen, supported, respected, and safe to be exactly who they are.

Throughout June, The Lotus Centre recognizes and celebrates the rich histories, cultures, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous peoples across Mi'kma'ki and Turtle Island.

We acknowledge the strength, resilience, and wisdom of Indigenous communities, and commit to continuing to learn, listen, and walk forward in the spirit of respect, reconciliation, and community.

Throughout June, we encourage everyone to take time to learn Indigenous histories, support Indigenous voices, and reflect on the importance of truth and healing.

🧡 Every story matters. Every voice matters.

A huge thank you to Maurices at the Truro Mall for hosting our ongoing hygiene basket initiative! 💜

Community members can drop off donations directly at the Maurice's location, and we are so grateful for every contribution.

We gladly accept all hygiene items, but we are especially in need of:
🧴 Shampoo
🧼 Body wash
🧍 Deodorant
🪥 Toothbrushes
🦷 Toothpaste
🩸 Pads & tampons
🌸 Diva cups
🩲 Incontinence pads/underwear

If you can’t make it to the mall, you can still support us by ordering directly from our Amazon Wishlist here: https://a.co/00GLFMpi Place the order and the items get delivered right to our doors.

Thank you to our incredible community for continuing to support this initiative, and thank you to businesses like Maurice's for helping us make hygiene products more accessible to those who need them most. 💕

Interested in hosting a hygiene basket for a month at your workplace or business? We’d love to hear from you! Reach out to us at: [email protected]
