Thanks to the many organizations that submitted applications for a 2026-2027 CHB Wellness Fund grant from their local CHB by our deadline date, April 15th at 5:00 p.m. Here's a glimpse of our timeline so you know what you can expect over the coming months:

1. You should have received a notification from our automated system confirming that your application was received (it may have gone to your junk folder). If you didn't receive this, please reach out to your local coordinator.

2. The application review process takes place during the months of May and June. If there are any questions or clarifications needed about your application, a CHB Coordinator will be in touch with you.

3. Applicants can expect to be notified over the summer about whether or not their application will receive any funding and how much. Successful applicants will be asked to provide their banking information for direct deposit during this timeframe (July/August).

4. Applicants selected to receive funding can expect to sign their contracts and have their funds deposited in August/September. Some CHBs plan an event where the contracts are signed and photos taken.

5. Successful applicants will be assigned a wellness fund liaison who will be their main contact with the CHB for their project. They will connect to do a mid-term check-in about halfway through the project.

6. You will have 12 months after you recive your funds to complete your project. When your project ends, connect with your wellness fund liaison or CHB Coordinator and they will provide you with the final report template, You will be required to submit this final report with copies of your receipts no later than 12 months after you receive your funds.

Again, thanks to all who submitted an application. We know this takes time and effort and we appreciate the work involved in the application process.
