Thanks all the young budding artists for showing your love through art for Canada. we had so much fun meeting new people and seeing all this young artists take their time and energy !
Thanks for all the participants and their parents / grand parents/ friends who got them in and made them participate. ..
Little bit about our judges :
Dudka
Catalina Dudka’s journey through art took many roads, from Graphic Design in Vancouver BC during the early 90s to running the family farm-to-table artisan food business for twenty-seven years in the Okanagan Valley, to now working at the CEH Public Library in Truro, Nova Scotia. Through it all she has filled sketchbook after sketchbook with art inspired by dreams, experiences, and imaginings. The last few years Catalina has concentrated on stream of consciousness work that purposely veers away from too much preplanning. Her current pieces are full of whimsy, and an inner symbolism she hopes speaks to the viewer
Hemlal V sakundala :
Although not formally trained in art Hemlal had always had deep passion to draw portraits . Hemlal is also a creative writer in Malayalam language. Hemlal is running a restaurant in Truro, Nova scotia. In future Hemlal is hoping to be on the creative writer fulltime .
