Maritime District PAOC We're the Maritime District of the PAOC. We're making disciples, establishing churches, and developing leaders on Canada's East Coast!

On May 17, Pastor Bill Wozney passed from time into eternity. We will miss him, but know that his heavenly homecoming was glorious as he's in the presence of our Lord and Savior.

We continue to pray for the Wozney Family - Bill's wife Cindy, their children Paul, Rachel and Amy and their families.

Our hearts are with Tumbler Ridge today.
In moments like this, we may not have the right words, but we can pray. We can pause. We can stand with a community in spirit and ask God to draw near.

Lord,
You see Tumbler Ridge.
You see every family, every first responder, every leader, every person who is hurting.
Bring comfort where there is grief.
Bring peace where there is fear.
Bring strength for today.
Surround this community with Your presence and hold them steady in this moment.
Amen.

Bill C-9 update: PAOC guidance - An Act to amend the Criminal Code (hate propaganda, hate crime and access to religious or cultural places)

Dear PAOC credential holders, churches and ministries:

We continue to actively monitor the fluid developments of Bill C-9 and we are in regular communication with the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada on a collaborative interdenominational response for maximum impact. The EFC represents over a hundred affiliate organizations including 60 denominations. They are constantly updating their website with current information and strategically mobilizing contact with Members of Parliament (MP) and Prime Minister Mark Carney.
