Youth Week is a wrap!
What a week! We kicked things off with a quick game to learn each other’s names, and then we were off!
A huge thank you to our friends at the Salvation Army Truro for partnering with us and helping make this week exceptional.
The theme of the week was Service. Through serving our community, we got to experience what it’s like to put our faith into action by loving those around us through street cleanups, a free BBQ, handing out water and snacks at Victoria Park, and helping neighbours with a few backyard tasks.
But it wouldn’t be a complete Youth Week without some epic and fun games!
On Thursday, Pastor Sergio shared a challenging message about what it means to put our faith into action and what it would look like if we sought to live our day-to-day lives that way. After a time of worship and prayer, we got ready for the most EPIC game of Nerf Wars, complete with fog machines, black lights, and coloured lights. Things got LIT 🔥
We finished the week with a game of Brokenville at Victoria Park! As the game came to an end, the rain began to pour, so we moved back to the picnic area where Pastor Michael closed the week by comparing the game of Brokenville to the story of redemption we see throughout Scripture.
Needless to say, we made some core memories and are excited for the year ahead at Unlimited Soul!
