Everyone say ALPHA! 😄

That’s how big our smiles get when we’re preparing for Youth Alpha! Grateful for the youth from Immanuel, Faith Baptist, Truro Alliance, Salvation Army and Shubenacadie United and their hearts for those who don’t know Jesus yet!

I can think of a million different things this group could be doing right now, but they’re choosing the way of Jesus 🙌 Please pray for them as they continue to prepare and set the table for God to move at CEC.

Good opportunity!

As part of our mission to be a church that loves and serves our community, we’re happy to offer a free weekly martial arts program for children on Sundays at various times throughout the year.
This introductory Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) program gives children a fun, safe space to be active and learn new techniques, whatever their athletic ability or confidence level.
We’ll offer two classes with 20 students each: one for beginners and one for children with previous experience.
For students interested in pursuing BJJ more seriously, we encourage you to contact local gyms such as Truro BJJ or MarMac.

Starts Oct 4th
Ages: 11-15
Time: 1:40-2:25pm
No experience required! 🙌

If someone asked you what Christians actually believe or why you’re a Christian… what would you say?

This Fall we will be exploring the Apostles’ Creed: an ancient summary of the central beliefs that Christians have shared for generations! 😮

Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years, are still figuring out what you believe, or simply have questions, you’re welcome! Let’s explore, learn and grow together!
