One of the important lessons 4-H teaches is the value of giving back and showing appreciation.

This year, Bennett Knievel was proud to represent the Huxley 4-H Beef Club while picking up our sponsorship cheque from Richardson Pioneer for the stall cards displayed at this year’s achievement day.

Taking the time to personally thank our sponsors helps our members build confidence, communication skills, and an appreciation for the businesses that support our club.

We are incredibly thankful for Richardson Pioneer and their commitment to supporting local youth, agriculture, and community programs like 4-H.

Thank you for investing in our youth and the future of agriculture! πŸŒΎπŸ„πŸ’š

As another 4-H year comes to a close, we find ourselves reflecting not only on this year's project members and buyers, but on the generations of families who have helped make 4-H what it is today.

4-H has been built on a simple philosophy: Learn To Do By Doing. Through raising livestock, public speaking, record keeping, community service, leadership opportunities, and countless hours of hard work, young people gain skills that extend far beyond the show ring.

None of this happens alone.

The Huxley 4-H Beef Club would like to extend our sincere gratitude to each and every one of our buyers. Your support is much more than the purchase of an animal. It is an investment in rural communities, in agriculture, and most importantly, in youth. It is your support that allows our members to continue learning, growing, and developing into confident young leaders.

What makes 4-H truly special is the sense of community it creates. Year after year, buyers, families, alumni, volunteers, leaders, sponsors, and members come together to support one another. Together, you help carry forward traditions, values, and opportunities that have shaped generations.

To our buyers: thank you for believing in our members and for helping keep the spirit of 4-H strong. The encouragement you provide, the relationships you build, and the support you give are appreciated more than words can express.

On behalf of all of our members, leaders, and families, thank you for being part of our 4-H story.

The Huxley 4-H Beef Club enjoyed a very successful day of public speaking. All 25 members presented and did an outstanding job with both their prepared and impromptu speeches. The confidence, effort, and growth shown by our members made us incredibly proud.

A sincere thank you to Sarah Hogg for organizing the event. We truly appreciate all the time and work that went into making the day run smoothly.

We are also very grateful to our 12 volunteer judges who generously donated their time and expertise. Your support is greatly appreciated.

A special thank you to Harper Dettmer and Abby Watson - Langevin for doing an excellent job as MCs. As this is their final year in 4-H, it was wonderful to see them step into leadership roles and help ensure the day ran seamlessly.

Thank you to all the parents who contributed food and snacks. We enjoyed a wonderful meal together after the speeches and appreciated the strong sense of community.
