Yesterday Trinity & Area and Port Rexton & Area fire departments did a combined training exercise with the 103 Search & Rescue Helicopter crew. They did a helicopter hoist scenario to simulate a patient extraction where the helicopter can’t land. Big thanks to the awesome 103 crew for coming and training with us.

Trinity and Port Rexton fire departments will be doing a joint training operation with 103 Search and Rescue helicopter in the area across from the highway depot in Port Rexton tomorrow morning, Friday May 22.

It provided information on situations people with dementia might find themselves in and how we can respond to better ensure their safety and dignity.
