***NOTICE FROM DYNAMIC WASTE MANAGEMENT***

GARBAGE COLLECTION WILL TAKE PLACE ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 12 AS REGULARLY SCHEDULED.

We have noticed that trees and other debris are being dropped off on the beach on the Lowercoast. No dumping is permitted there . The Town Will allow trees , wood with No Nails , products that have no metal attached to be dropped off there in June . At that time it will be marked where to drop of your burnables and it will be a controlled burn by the Fire Department for the bonfire . Please keep our beaches clean . The Town doesn’t have the resources for cleanup.

The metals bin is at the government wharf are for metals only . Please abide by the rules or we will lose it again. Make sure your metals are placed in the bin , NOT on the ground beside it . Thankyou for your cooperation on these matters.

🏠 NL Housing – Home Repair & Home Modification Programs

We wanted to share information with residents regarding two programs available through Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation.

Applications for both programs will be available beginning October 1 at 10:30 a.m.

🔨 Home Repair Program
This program provides assistance to eligible homeowners who require repairs to their homes.

♿ Home Modification Program
This program provides assistance with modifications to help improve accessibility and support individuals with disabilities or changing mobility needs in their homes.

Town Maintenance will be flushing hydrants on Shoal Point Road, Daniel's Point, Northwest Road to the Clinic on Monday, Sept 21 and Tuesday, Sept 22. Hydrants from the Clinic to all other areas in Trepassey will be flushed on Wednesday, Sept 23, Thursday, Sept 24 and Friday, Sept 25.
