🦉🦝 Help Us Build a Safe
Haven For Wildlife.🦊🦅

As we prepare to open our new wildlife rehabilitation centre, we’re looking for donations of materials and supplies to help us create safe, comfortable spaces for the animals in our care.

We are seeking:
• fencing materials
• wire mesh and chainlink
• fence posts and gates
• small, medium and large cages
• dog runs etc

Every donation big or small, helps provide injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife with the care they need until they can safely return to the wild.
If you or someone you know may have items to donate, please send us a message. We would also be grateful if you could share this post to help spread the word.
Thank you for supporting Saskatchewan’s wildlife. Together we are building a second chance.

I received a call this winter about an Oriole that was cold, exhausted and far from where it should be. I was skeptical about our ability to catch this fully flighted migratory bird, but we devised a plan to catch it anyways.
A few days later a call came in and on the other end of the phone , the kind and very determined lady said
“I GOT HIM”!
When I arrived to pick it up she excitedly told me about the numerous tactics she tried leading up to success.
Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation centre over wintered him and cared for him until it was ready for release.
A couple days ago this lucky little bird got its second chance and was released right back in the ladies yard it came from.
Moments like these are a reminder that even the smallest of lives are worth saving.💜

Every photo has a story. 🦝🐰🦊🦉
Some were cold, injured, orphaned, or simply out of options when found.
What you don’t always see in the pictures are the emergency calls, late nights, long drives, heartbreaks, tiny victories and all the incredible people who’s stepped in to help along the way.
These are a few of the wildlife rescues that touched our hearts and remind us why this work matters so much. Not every story is easy, but every animal deserved a chance.
Thank you to everyone who has supported, shared posts, offered supplies or simply cared.
Wildlife rescue truly takes a community.❤️
Here are some of the beautiful souls we’ve had the privilege to help.

My daughter and I came across an injured mallard duck on the side of the highway yesterday.
She had a laceration on her head and was clearly in need of help. We picked her up and brought her to North Battleford Animal Hospital where the wonderful staff treated her injuries.
After treatment and a little rest, we were happy to be able to release her back to the same location we found her. A huge thank you to the amazing team at the clinic and to my daughter for jumping into action without hesitation.
Every act of kindness matters.

We’re getting very close to opening.

FenceLine Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation is coming together, and we are now working on building safe enclosures for incoming wildlife.
We are looking for donations of materials such as:
• Fencing ( wire, page wire, chain link)
• Fence posts ( wood or metal)
• Lumber ( 2x 4, 2x 6, plywood etc.)
• Tarps and roofing material( tin, shingles)

If you have extra materials sitting around the farm or shop, we would be incredibly grateful for anything you’re willing to donate. Every piece helps create a safe secure space for injured and orphaned wildlife to recover and return back to where they belong.

Hi everyone,

My name is Marsha, and I’m proud to be starting something that’s been on my heart for a long time.
FenceLine Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation will soon be opening here in rural Saskatchewan, in the beginning, our focus will be on specializing in helping injured and orphaned raccoons and eventually growing to support other wildlife in the near future.
Living in a farming community, I’ve seen firsthand how often wildlife and rural life cross paths.
Not every situation has to end badly. With the right care and resources, many of these animals can be safely rehabilitated and returned to where they belong.
That’s why I’m building this rehab- right here where that need exists.
This is a non profit and from the ground up, labour of love and as I get things set up, I’m looking to the community to gather materials and supplies to build safe, secure enclosures, rehab spaces and items that would make a huge difference right now.

- lumber ( new or used)
-Fencing wire, hardware
-old sheds, bins, small outbuildings.
-cages, aquariums, enclosure materials and hardware.
-heat lamps and extension cords
-insulation materials
-Tin ( roofing tin, shingles)
Linens ( blankets, sheets, towels)
Buckets, totes, bins.

If you have anything you’d be willing to donate or repurpose, I would be incredibly grateful.
This is a grassroots effort, built with the goal of helping wildlife while respecting the needs of our rural communities.
Thank you for taking the time to read, share and support something local.
