The tuition-free Industry Ready Carpentry Foundation Program offers full-time, hands-on training to help eligible British Columbians begin a rewarding career in construction.

📅 Training begins August 31, 2026

Participants receive:

🪚 Practical carpentry training
🧰 Paid tools and equipment
📜 Industry-recognized certificates
🏗️ A six-week placement with a local employer
🤝 Job-search and employment support
🚀 A pathway toward apprenticeship opportunities

You may qualify if you are at least 18, live in British Columbia, have a valid SIN, are entitled to work in Canada, and are unemployed or precariously employed.
