This is an opportunity for a capable, self-directed leader to strengthen collaboration across our region and turn ambitious ideas into meaningful economic impact.

In this hands-on role, you will:

✅ Coordinate and advance the award-winning Metal Tech Alley initiative
✅ Build partnerships with industry, government, post-secondary institutions, Indigenous organizations and communities
✅ Lead a major multi-year economic development initiative
✅ Support business growth and investment attraction
✅ Help build a stronger, more resilient Lower Columbia economy

Is your manufacturing, technology or industrial business being affected by tariffs or supply-chain disruption?

PacifiCan has expanded the Regional Tariff Response Initiative (RTRI), creating new opportunities for B.C. small and medium-sized businesses to strengthen operations, improve productivity, diversify markets and pursue new pathways for growth.

Eligible businesses may receive up to $3 million in non-repayable support:

⚙️ Up to $1 million for transformation projects, including pivots into new markets
⚙️ Up to $2 million for eligible liquidity needs

Repayable funding is also available for transformation projects exceeding $1 million, with total combined contributions capped at $20 million per applicant.

Among the requirements for non-repayable liquidity support, applicants must have at least $1 million in annual sales and demonstrate tariff impacts or significant disruption to supply-chain inputs.
