The East Shore Kootenay Lake Community Health Society visited the LCCHC on April 27 for a tour, with the goal of learning about our start-up journey and exploring ideas to help move their vision for team-based primary care forward.

Rita, Erin, Win, and Linda were pleased to share their experiences. We see Community Health Centre's as a strong and promising model for delivering primary care in rural BC.

We want to say a HUGE thank you to Josie Osborne, Minister of Health, Colleen Jones, Mayor of Trail, and MLA Steve Morissette for taking the time to visit us at the Lower Columbia Community Health Centre.

The visit from Minister Osborne, Mayor Jones, and MLA Morissette helped Lower Columbia Community Health Centre Network Society (LCCHCNS) showcase the early success of our Ministry-funded Community Health Centre in Trail while advancing our vision for integrated, team-based primary care across the Lower Columbia. It strengthened our alignment with provincial priorities and supports our work as a community-governed non-profit to expand access to sustainable, patient-centered care in rural communities.
