In the wake of the Ford government forcing through undemocratic Bill 68, stripping away provincial climate obligations just days before the crucial December 1st Mathur youth climate hearing, it’s more important than ever for our communities to come together.

We need a strong City of Toronto climate strategy, and we need our city to stand with us, not against us.

Join us in person to organize, mobilize, and help shape the 2026–2030 climate strategy. The first session will also include a hybrid (virtual) option.

📍 Friends House, 60 Lowther Ave (north of Bloor)
November 29th Saturday
🕙 10:00am – 3:00pm (Vegan lunch provided)
🚇 St. George Station – Bedford entrance
🚲 Bike + car parking available

This strategy goes to the Infrastructure & Environment Committee on December 4th, and it will define Toronto’s climate action for years to come. At a time when climate action is being delayed and undermined, we need to show councillors that Toronto’s climate community is strong, united, and ready to fight for a greener, more equitable city.
You’ll learn about the strategy, share your perspectives, and help develop key advocacy asks.

Join us tonight at 7:30pm as we celebrate the launch of the Lighthouse Collective with a night of music, art and, and community. Featuring music from Pantayo, Housewife, and Quincy Bullen. The Lighthouse Collective is a partnership building new pathways into the climate movement through supporting youth, artists, and a climate guide program. We’ll be joined by the youth climate organizers who are being supported by our work, the artists who’ve been working on the art pilot in Malvern, and a host of community partners who’ve made this work possible. All proceeds will support the Climate ShareSpace, a program of Youth Harbour.

Support climate action that creates an affordable, healthy, and equitable Toronto.

The direct impact of the climate crisis is already being felt by many residents and communities in our city. Toronto City Council has declared a climate emergency, and passed a climate plan, the TransformTO Net Zero Strategy. The strategy will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and create benefits for communities and protect residents. Our City Council must show stronger leadership by actioning and resourcing the climate strategy. No more delays.

Will your counsellor actively support our city’s climate plan?
