Born August 18, 1957, Tan Dun is a Chinese-born American composer and conductor whose music brings together Western and Chinese musical influences.

His work spans opera, orchestral, vocal, chamber, solo and film music, exploring the connections between different musical traditions. 🎻🎹🎶

Born in Montréal, Peterson became an internationally renowned jazz pianist and composer, performing around the world and leaving an extraordinary legacy in jazz.
