The Q***r Space is a Q***r & Trans student group at Toronto Metropolitan University that challenges homophobia & transphobia, while also hosting great events & campaigns. The Q***r Space (formally known as Rye*Pride) an Equity Service Group of the Toronto Metropolitan Students' Union (TMSU) and Continuing Education Students' Association of TMU (CESAR). The Q***r Space offers education, advocacy
and support of q***r and trans* people on campus. Our goal is to create a safe and positive campus environment for people of ALL sexual orientations and gender identities. We also have some entertaining and educational events so you can connect with other like-minded q***rs and allies. Our resources and services are intended to build a healthy and q***r-positive community. The Q***r Space is proud to be building an inclusive campus since 1977! The Q***r Space has come a long way in thirty plus years but there is still a lot of work to be done. Join us as we continue to push forward fighting bigotry, homophobia, transphobia and heterosexism. With the use of education and campaigns we strive daily to create as safe and comfortable campus for q***r students. The Q***r Space also shows appreciation for students who are making strides towards change with our Annual Christopher Skinner Memorial Bursaries. The doors of the The Q***r Space office are open, offering a meeting place for q***r and trans* people, their friends and allies.
