I was honored to attend the Global Conference on Girl Child Empowerment this past Saturday in Toronto.
And I will be honest with you,
As a woman who understands what happens when a girl is empowered early, being in that room surrounded by leaders, advocates and women who have given their lives to this cause reminded me that we are not doing small work.
We are do generational work.
The kind that shapes futures.
To thank you for creating a space that takes the girl child seriously.
