Our beautiful Tibetan cultural dances and traditional attire serve as a vibrant display of our heritage. Even a young child, unfamiliar with Tibet, can sense a deep love and earnest desire to embrace their Tibetan identity—especially on Wednesdays, which hold special significance as Lhakar.
As we celebrate our culture, we must remain vigilant in preserving our traditions, particularly as China continues to threaten and dismantle the very aspects of our identity that we hold dear: our language, literature, religion, and culture. Together, let us strive to protect and honor our rich heritage.

It is with deep sorrow that we came to know of the passing of Prof. Robert Thurman, a longstanding friend and advocate for Tibet and its people. Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time. All Tibetans will join in prayer for his swift rebirth.

Genla, may you now rest in peace and harmony, awakening in the land of snow as you have envisioned countless times. Let us uphold your legacy and continue the long fight for freedom and justice!
