Are you applying for a refugee status? Are you unsure about your rights because you don't have a legal status in Canada? Are you unsure about sponsoring a family member? CultureLink Youth Program can help! We can help you with any immigration questions you might have. We can give you immigration orientation, help you fill out documents and applications, help you find housing and jobs, accompany you to the Refugee Board, and lots more! We also have lots of programs and events going on for newcomer youth to hang out, make new friends, and have fun! Contact us! Are you a newcomer youth interested in starting up your own business? Come join us for a free 2-Day Newcomer Youth Entrepreneurship Training Program!

This program is hosted in collaboration by SYS & NYS at CultureLink and Scadding Court Community Centre. Participants will have a chance to connect with newcomer entrepreneurs, learning their entrepreneurial mindset to support personal business adventures, and adopting online tools to turn their ideas into business opportunities.

Date: August 5 & 6, 2026
Time: 10:30am-3:00pm

Eligibility: Newcomer Youth aged 13-17

☀️ What an unforgettable week! 💛

From June 6–10, our Summer Camp was filled with laughter, learning, creativity, and connection. Campers enjoyed exciting outdoor adventures, team-building games, creative activities, and plenty of opportunities to make lasting memories and new friendships.

Together, we explored emotions, learned about the diverse ways of communicating, challenged ourselves through fun group activities, built confidence, and even learned new skills like finger crocheting! 🧶

Every smile, accomplishment, and moment of teamwork made this camp so special.

Thank you to all of our amazing campers, families, volunteers and staff for making these two weeks one to remember. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer brings! 🌞✨

Kids ages 6–13 are invited to join us every Thursday from 3:30–5:30 PM for a fun, welcoming drop-in where they can connect, create, play, and grow!

Youth ages 14–18: Looking to earn high school volunteer hours? Volunteer with us to build leadership and teamwork skills while making a difference!

Eligibility This program is open to newcomer children and youth with Permanent Resident (PR) or Convention Refugee (CR) status.
