Are you, or a high school youth you know, interested in joining the 2026 Collaborative High School Action & Mentorship Program (CHAMP)?

CHAMP includes a four-day action-packed, experiential learning camp from August 16–19, followed by fall extra–curricular activities: five in-person weekend leadership days, and five online action project support sessions. Participants will learn new skills, meet other youth sustainability leaders from across the region, connect with nature, and enhance their knowledge on how to create change within Metro Vancouver schools and communities.

From striking contrasts of nature to powerful reflections on how climate change threatens our global food systems, these young photographers (ages 11-14 and 15-18) are using their lenses to investigate critical environmental issues.

We’re proud to share the impact of EcoSchools Canada’s Divert Textile Waste Action Card, co-developed by Fashion Takes Action and EcoSchools Canada!

Since 2022:
2,329 schools have completed this card
582,364 students reached
Nearly 460,000 kg of textiles were diverted from landfill through swaps, clothing drives, repair clinics, and repurposing initiatives

A huge shoutout to the teachers who brought textile waste reduction into classrooms across Canada!

EcoSchools registration begins again this fall! Schools can register for free at the link in ’s bio and add the Divert Textile Waste action to their certification plan, helping students take meaningful climate action while supporting a more circular future for fashion in Canada!
