The Vote is over but Tim Oribine and NOWU is afraid to open the box.

Both the Hospital and LiUNA Local 3000 have asked the Labour Board to count the ballots. NOWU has objected to counting the ballots and asked that the ballot box be sealed.

This is because they hope to drag out the process and continue collecting your dues for as long as possible.

LiUNA will be pushing the Labour Board to unseal the ballot box and count the ballots as quickly as possible.

We understand that NOWU is telling people they won the vote. If that is the case, they should have no hesitation in allowing the ballots to be counted.

We will keep you updated on progress at the Board and expect to be announcing a victory here in the next few weeks.
